Celebrity City fans Stuart Hall, James Hickman, Bernard Manning, Frank Sidebottom, Irish Al and Nige of Kiss 102, Fred Fielder and John Stapleton are gathering at Eastlands to take part.

A demo of the song, which is a reworking of the Blondie 80s classic
with new words personally approved by Blondie, was originally aired during a game at CoMS in October.

It caused quite a stir, with The Sun that Stuart Pearce, a big fan of 80s music, had commissioned the frontman and songwriter Ray Godwin to write the track as a theme for the Blues to run out to.

Stuart Hall agreed to star in the video for the fee of two pounds of Black
pudding from Bury's world famous market. It turns out that black pudding
must be very popular in celebrity City fan circles as this was the fee
also accepted by the rest of the stars.

Style Limousines have loaned the band Europe's largest limousine, a brand new eight wheel Hummer, which will be used in for the opening shots adding a further touch of glamour to the occasion. Today the heavens have opened too to give it a real feel of Manchester.

Ray said: “We would like Ricky Hatton to join us for the shoot as he is a massive City fan, but he is presently in training for a big fight next month so we'll have to see whether he can make it.”

The website for the band, formerly known as The Sounds Alliance, is currently under construction, but City fans will shortly be able to get further information and hear a snippet of the song by logging on to their website www.thedandelionclocks.co.uk.
