YOUNG CITY KEEPER SEEKS LOAN MOVE

The Danish goalkeeper, 21, was thrust into the City line-up last season due to the career-ending injury to David Seaman, but accepts that he is now third choice behind David James and new signing Geert de Vlieger.

"The best thing for me would be to be sent on loan, that would give me some more matches," he told Ritzau.

"In my eyes, I am just the third choice and that is not good enough for me because I would like to play."

In his seven appearances, Stuhr-Ellegaard showed he has ability but he also showed that he needs greater senior experience before he can be considered for the role as regular keeper.
