Manchester City defender Pablo Zabaleta has appealed to the Football Association against his sending off in the 0-0 draw with Arsenal on Wednesday.The Argentine has submitted a claim for wrongful dismissal after he and Arsenal full-back Bacary Sagna were shown red cards for squaring up to each other.
Sagna appeared to be the main aggressor after the duo clashed on 90 minutes.
Should the dismissal stand Zabaleta would receive a three-game ban. The case will be heard on Friday.
