Valencia have confirmed that City had enquired about the possible sale of their star striker David Villa during the January transfer window.
However, Fernando Gomez, the Vice-President of the cash-striken Spanish side, also confirmed that City had not made an offer to Valencia for the 27-year-old striker."They didn't make us an offer," Gomez has said.
"The president asked for a significant amount and they didn't agree."
