Manchester United fans took a swipe at the blue half of the city with a huge billboard poking fun at Carlos Tevez's rift with Roberto Mancini.

The digital poster showed City outcast Tevez sitting on the bench with the slogan 'Welcome to CarlosManchester'.

The poster parodies one paid for by Cityfans when the Argentinian joined the club from United in 2009.

The original billboard showed the striker celebrating a goal and read'Welcome to Manchester Carlos'.

The Manchester United Supporters Trust (MUST), who paid for the poster, said it was a 'warm-hearted message, from some old friends.'

A spokespersonsaid: 'It is just a bit of fun from MUSThaving a little dig back at our noisy neighbours following their infamousposter when Tevez signed for City.

'As always, Fergie's managerial judgement is proved right in theend.'

Tevez has been suspended by his club pending an investigation into hisapparent refusal to come on as a sub during City's 2-0 defeat by BayernMunich in the Champions League on Tuesday.
