City are close to agreeing a £16m fee for the transfer of Arsenal defender Kolo Toure.
After John Terry declared his intention to stay at Chelsea, City bos Mark Hughes has quickly turned his attention to Toure, who is reportedly flying back to England from Arsenal's pre season taring camp in Austria to finalise the deal.
Toure was a target for City in the January transfer window, but stayed with the Gunner''s as they reached the semi final of the Champions League. If the switch is completed, Toure will link up again with Emmanuel Adebayor, who joined the blues last week and will give an extra bit of steel in the City defence.
