City are already without Paulo Wanchope, Nicky Weaver and Alfie Haaland for the round robin tournament beginning at FC Aarhus.

City will play the host club and then Silkeborg in two forty-five minute matches before playing HFK Sonderjylland on Friday.

"We will be giving everyone a game but will have to leave a few behind," manager Kevin Keegan told the club's official site.

"Danny Tiatto has had to pull out at the last minute but it is not serious."

Tiatto hopes to be ready for action when City play their pre season friendly match against Preston at Deepdale next week.

"I have a bit of tendonitis through the knee cap at the moment so I pulled out of training last Friday. I will let it settle down and aim to be back in training by the end of the week."

"It is not a bad time to be injured as I have missed out on some of the hard work," said the Australian international.

"It is just unfortunate but I will be back training with the team at the start of next week for the rest of the pre-season games."
