Being the home side, the Blues are expected to come out tops in the local derby but Bolton are well equipped to cause a surprise with the two World Cup stars in their attack.
And Distin knows are all about the pair, having seen them at first-hand while at PSG.
"I used to watch him [Djorkaeff] play when I was in the Academy at Paris St. Germain and he was in the first team. He was a great player then and still is,” he told the official club site.
“He has great ability with great vision in a match situation. I rate him as one of their best players. He was completely different from so many other great French internationals and he was very important to Paris St. Germain.
“He scores important goals, and is quick in the mind. That is probably his greatest attribute. He is clever,” added Distin.
"They will pose a big threat to us as along with Youri Djorkaeff there is Jay-Jay Okocha too. You never know what he is going to do. With some players you can predict what they will do but not with Jay-Jay.
“The only thing you can predict is that he will do something that he has never done before!"
The Nigerian has terrorised our defence before, in April’s 2-0 defeat at the Reebok, so maybe that means he is due a stinker!
