"Shaun has been our best player in most games this season," Keegan told the Evening News.

"The exciting thing about him is that he will get better. He is nowhere near the finished article but he has been magnificent for us at times.

"We have got him for another two years but I understand why other clubs are interested in him. People are talking about him.

"Am I worried he may go to another club? Well there is always that chance, but I want Shaun to stay."
