Aguero, who is in the Argentina squad for World Cup qualifying matches against Bolivia and Colombia, says it's a 'shame for everyone' Tevez has been marginalised by City.

Sticking together: Sergio Aguero is club and country team-mate of Carlos Tevez

'What happened is very sad,' Aguero said. 'Carlitos is now training at the club, but not with us. It is a shame. Hopefully, in these days or the next month it can be solved and he will be with us.'

Tevez, also left out of the Argentina squad, provoked a scandal in September when Mancini believed he refused to come on as a substitute during City's 2-0 Champions League loss to Bayern Munich. Tevez has insisted he was misunderstood and never refused to play.

Mancini says he is willing to forgive the striker if he says he's sorry, but Tevez has not yet apologized.

Marginalised: Tevez has been forced to train on his own since an incident during the Champions League defeat in Bayern Munich

In an interview with Corriere Della Sera, Mancini said: 'Everything depends on Carlos. If he apologises to the squad and to me then everything will be as before.

'If he doesn't then Tevez has a value that everyone knows and something will happen in January. He is totally unprepared and being badly advised. I don't want it to be like this and I would be the first to forgive him.'
