Sergio Aguero can use Kun on Manchester City shirt

Last updated : 18 August 2011 By Daily Mail

Manchester City's new superstar got the name from his grandparents who said he resembled Japanese cartoon character 'Kum Kum'.

Kum Kum spent his days looking for adventure and getting into trouble.

Star: Sergio Aguero scored twice on his Manchester City debut

But after Aguero's stunning debut against Swansea on Monday, it is Premier League defences who will be in trouble this season.

The Argentine wore the name Kun at Atletico Madrid so is fine to follow suit in England.

A Premier League source said: 'As long as they can prove it's been used in the same way in another league before then it's normally OK.'
