Roque Santa Cruz has finally completed his transfer to Manchester City, Sky Sports reports this afternoon.
The striker, who has been a target for the blues since Mark Hughes took over last summer, passed a medical this afternoon which lasted four and a half hours. Club doctors spent a considerable amount of attention to Santa’s troublesome knee, which forced him to miss the final two months of last season.
The striker will be unveiled next week after Hughes returns from holiday. With Santa in the bag, City can now turn their attention to the signing of Carlos Tevez.
