Same again for City?

Keegan is unlikely to make changes to the side that delighted the blue half of Manchester last weekend with the 3-1 victory over over arch rivals United.

Steve Howey and Sylvain Distin are still sidelined with foot and hamstring injuries respectively, so Gerard Wiekens and Lucien Mettomo should keep their places in the City defence.

Keegan will be looking to the improving partnership of Nicolas Anelka and Shaun Goater to score the goals that could take City to their fourth consecutive league victory - something they haven't achieved in the top flight since 1992.

Club captain Ali Bernabia played in City's reserves 2-1 victory over Birmingham in midweek as did Shaun Wright-Phillips and Darren Huckerby, but all three are likely to remain on the bench for the game with a Charlton side who have lost their last three away games.

Manchester City (From): Schmeichel; Dunne, Wiekens, Mettomo, Sun Jihai, Berkovic, Foe, Tiatto, Jensen; Anelka, Goater, Nash, Horlock, Wright-Phillips, Benarbia, Huckerby, Kerkar, Vuoso.
