Frank Lampard scored the only goal of the game as the Three Lions beat Spain at Wembley on Saturday and Mancini has backed them to use the performance as a springboard.

The Manchester City manager, who was at the Abu Dhabi Grand Prix at the weekend, said: 'It is a good place for England to build from. They are a good team. In my opinion they can win the European Championship. Why not?
