The 31-year-old is set to reach the landmark after being named in Bruce Arena's squad for the friendly, which represents USA's final game before the start of the 2006 World Cup qualifiers.

Reyna was handed his debut by Bora Milutinovic, now coach of Honduras, as a substitute in 1994. He scored his 1st international goal in his 1st start, a 3-0 win over Moldova, but did not play in the World Cup that year, which was hosted by the US, because of injury.

The New-Jersey born midfielder played four games in the 2002 World Cup as captain, leading the US to the quarter finals before they were knocked out by eventual runners-up Germany.

Full US squad:
Chris Armas, DaMarcus Beasley, Carlos Bocanegra, Conor Casey, Steve Cherundolo, Bobby Convey, Landon Donovan, Brad Friedel, Cory Gibbs, Tim Howard, Eddie Lewis, Pablo Mastroeni, Clint Mathis, Brian McBride, Claudio Reyna, Tony Sanneh, Earnie Stewart, Greg Vanney.
