Raheem Sterling scored the 100th Premier League goal of his career after converting a penalty in Manchester City's 1-0 win against Wolves on Saturday.
The England international becomes the 32nd player to score a century of goals in the competition.
Sterling secured his place in history from the spot in City's lunchtime clash at home to Wolves. Joao Moutinho was adjudged to have blocked a Bernardo Silva cross with his arm, and the winger stepped up and put his penalty straight down the middle, breaking the deadlock after 66 minutes.
Of the 32 players to have notched up 100 goals in the Premier League era, just six are playing in the division today - Sterling, Sadio Mane, Mohamed Salah, Jamie Vardy, Harry Kane and Romelu Lukaku.
Man City legend Sergio Aguero, who joined Barcelona in the summer, and Jermain Defoe of Rangers are the only two players in the 100 club plying their trade in a league outside of England. However, Aguero's future as a professional player remains in doubt due to the severity of his heart condition.
Sterling grabbed his first Premier League goal for Liverpool against Reading aged 17, becoming the second-youngest scorer in their history behind Michael Owen.
He would score another 17 league goals for the Reds before his switch to City in 2015, reaching double figures in four of his six full seasons so far at the Etihad Stadium.
Despite reaching this prestigious milestone, Sterling informed City last month that he is keen to leave the club and join Barcelona as he has grown frustrated with his lack of consistent opportunities in the starting XI.
Whether or not his mind will change, as he appears to be back in favour under Pep Guardiola for now, remains to be seen.
