Pearce could return

Skipper Pearce made a substitute appearance in the victory over Swindon Town in the FA Cup last Saturday having been sidelined since 28 November with a hamstring injury.

The 39-year-old left-back is now in contention for a start in the side to face Norwich after he built up his match fitness with a 45-minute run-out for the reserves in mid-week.

Kevin Keegan also expects Shaun Wright-Phillips to be fit while midfielder Danny Tiatto is back in training and should also be available.

Richard Edghill will definitely be missing after he was sent off against West Brom, incurring a one-match ban.
