Having been denied an FA Cup semi-final by West Ham last week and lying well behind in the race for UEFA Cup places, us Blues could be forgiven for thinking the season was already over.

But Psycho is having none of it ...

"We're not on a good run at the moment, but I'm not going to sulk and moan or make excuses about it, you have got to win the next game," he told the City website.

"That's football for you, and it's very, very important that we win against Middlesbrough on Sunday, for the players, for their confidence and the fans' confidence.

"We need to go into the summer with a feel-good factor where people say, 'I want to renew my season ticket'. With one or two additions to what we have got we can have another tilt in the next league campaign."
