Mike Ashley's Junk Site Claims - Suarez For City!

The Newcastle United owner, who is about as popular as a Mackem on the Tyne Bridge on Tyneside, launched his website last summer proclaiming on the opening day ... "Newcastle to sign Wayne Rooney".

As you will recall - it didn't happen.

And a week later the website had Lionel Messi heading to City for a medical!

And THAT didn't happen either.

The self-confessed Tottenham Hotspurs life-long supporter has been winding up the Geordies ever since he walked through the door at St James' Park.

And now he seems to be targeting City supporters; or simply winding up EVERYBODY, filling his website full of the same junk he started off with.

SportsDirect: "The Uruguayan international is widely thought to have been the best player in the Premier League this season, and is expected to be the subject of a big-money bid from Real Madrid ahead of next season.

"However, Suarez has also been targeted by other English clubs in the past, with Arsenal particularly keen on landing him last summer. It now seems as though City are also ready to test Liverpool's resolve for their star player.

"With Real Madrid also considering an offer for Sergio Aguero, and some doubt over the futures of Edin Dzeko and Stevan Jovetic, City may be on the lookout for new signings upfront, with Suarez seemingly becoming their prime target.

"Liverpool will be desperate to avoid selling the 27-year-old to a rival, and held firm when Arsenal were interested in him, but City's financial power could see them make a very tempting offer to the Reds.

"Much of what happens with the Premier League's leading goal scorer will depend on whether Brendan Rodgers can steer Liverpool to a top four spot and Champions League qualification this year."
