Mario Balotellis brother plays for Stoke City reserves

Last updated : 09 December 2011 By Daily Mail

Manchester City manager Roberto Mancini's patience may have been tested to the limit by some of Mario Balotelli's antics, but that has not deterred Stoke from handing a trial to his teenage brother, Enoch.

He made his debut in the reserves' 0-0 draw at Burton Albion, where a series of clever first-time flicks suggested he has inherited some of his brother's more acceptable traits.

The 19-year-old forward has been training with Stoke's youth team for three weeks, and academy coach Dave Kevan said: 'He's a good boy, but a little bit raw. We'll see how things go.'

Enoch is believed to be staying with Mario in south Manchester, which may be of some concern to Stoke manager Tony Pulis, given the pair's recent track record in each other's company.

They landed in trouble last year after driving round Brescia before deciding to take an unauthorised trip to the women's prison. Grilled by prison officials for half an hour, they were finally released without charge.

I like characters in football as long as it isn't violent behavior. Need more of these.

If he's half as entertaining as his brother then he will be a legend!
