Mario Balotelli has been spoken to by Manchester City manager Roberto Mancini, as he is set to come face-to-face with the referee who sent him off in last year's Europa League competition.
The Italian striker was dismissed for a high kung-fu kick at Dynamo Kiev's Goran Popov, as City crashed out of the tournament.
Mancini's side play Porto on Thursday night in the Europa League, with Balotelli returning from a four game Premier League absence after a domestic ban for stamping on Scott Parker.
