The City striker bagged a hat-trick in City's 4-1 win against Sam Allardyce's side at Eastlands on Monday night.

"Carlos Tevez played very, very well," Mancini said after the match.

“The most important thing is the result. We all know about Carlos, but all the team helped, and it is important his team-mates work for him.

“He was injured for a long time at the start of the season, but now if he can stay well and keep fit he can continue in this form.

“If he stays near the box, he will score goals, I am sure. But I want all of the players to score, not just Carlos, whether it is Benjani,Roque Santa Cruz or Emmanuel Adebayor, when he comes back to us.

"All the team concentrated for 90 minutes but I'm angry because we conceded a goal. I think it's most important we stay concentrated for all the time.

"For me we were playing very, very well. We must continue to play well and not concede one goal.

The win moved City into fourth place in the Premier League table but Mancini refused to predict where the team could finish in the table this season.

"We don't watch the table. We watch the table in two months time. Now it is not important,"he said.

"There are 17 games to the end. Now it's important that we continue to play well and we continue to improve."
