Manchester Citys Vladimir Weiss to join Dynamo Kiev

The Ukrainian club are confident of securing a deal for the talented Slovakian and head coach Yuri Semin confirmed the transfer was in its advanced stages.

Weiss, 21, is the son of Slovakia head coach and namesake Vladimir and joined City from Inter Bratislava at the age of 16 but has struggled to break into the first-team

The 21-year-old has spent time on loan at Bolton Wanderers and then Rangers where he scored five goals in 23 games.

Weiss was a part of the Slovakia team at the 2010 World Cup, playing in three games in South Africa.
