Manager Roberto Mancini is currently missing his talismanic international forward, who is now in Milan for treatment on a hamstring injury from the Argentina doctor.

Mancini is hopeful that Tevez will be fit for the FA Cup final next month but it is understand that the City boss and other club officials now have real concerns that he will attempt to push through a transfer at the end of the season.

On the way out? Manchester City fear Carlos Tevez could leave the club

Reports in Italy yesterday suggesting Tevez had agreed personal terms with Internazionale are untrue.

However, Inter do have a genuine interest, as do Juventus and the speculation was fuelled as the Argentinian is staying along with his girlfriend in the same hotel as the Inter team.

Tevez asked to leave once already this season, only to change his mind before Christmas. But for all his efforts on the field, Tevez continues to have differences with Mancini and is also tiring of living in England after six seasons here.

One thing the club will not do, however, is offer Tevez a pay rise. He still has three years left on the incredible deal he got on coming from United in 2009.
