Last season: Everton 2 Man City 1, Man City 1 Everton 2

Manchester City were left smarting when dropping two points in a 2-2 draw at Fulham after a brace from Sergio Aguero had put them on course for a fifth straight Premier League success.

Everton have recovered well from an opening loss to QPR and again showed plenty of spirit to come from behind and beat Wigan 3-1, while in midweek they reached the fourth round of the Carling Cup by beating West Brom on penalties.

The Toffees have a tremendous record against City, winning seven of their last eight meetings, but Roberto Mancini's current team looks a cut above recent years and Aguero can guide them to a 3-0 victory.
