Man City predicted lineup vs RB Leipzig - Champions League

Manchester City will host RB Leipzig on Tuesday in a straight shoot-out for a place in the quarter-final of the Champions League.

The two sides drew 1-1 in the first leg and so, with no away goals rule these days, it's all level ahead of the return fixture. Winner takes all.

With the pressure up, here's how Pep Guardiola could set up.

Man City predicted lineup (4-3-3)

GK: Ederson - The goalkeeper has conceded just twice in the Champions League this season, one of which was Josko Gvardiol's equaliser from the first leg.

RB: Kyle Walker - The experience of Walker should give him he nod over the young Rico Lewis.

CB: Manuel Akanji - Akanji's form has been a little shaky over the past few weeks but, with John Stones still working his way back to full fitness, the Swiss international will likely start once again.

CB: Ruben Dias - Now fully recovered from his hamstring problem, Dias has been a permanent fixture in Guardiola's sides.

LB: Nathan Ake - City's stand-out defender all season. The Dutchman will likely have to shift out to the left to help once again.

DM: Rodri - The excellent Rodri will have a new midfield battle this time around after Leipzig's Xaver Schlager suffered what could be a season-ending injury.

CM: Ilkay Gundogan - Gundogan is the cool head in City's midfield. He grabbed the assist in the first leg and will keep his place for this one.

CM: Kevin De Bruyne - Questions over De Bruyne's form are justified but the Belgian is still one of the best players in the world. Having played a reduced role last time out against Crystal Palace, he should have the fresh legs needed for a top performance.

RW: Riyad Mahrez - Mahrez was kept on the bench against Palace, which could be a sign that Guardiola is planning to start him here.

ST: Erling Haaland - Haaland has six goals in five appearances against Leipzig, scoring two on three separate occasions during his Borussia Dortmund days.

LW: Jack Grealish - After seven games, Grealish is still waiting for his first goal or assist in the Champions League this season.
