Man City predicted lineup vs Leeds - Premier League

Focus shifts back to the Premier League for Man City as they travel to face Leeds looking to tighten their grip on top spot.

Pep Guardiola's side are in the driving seat in their Champions League semi-final clash with Real Madrid after a topsy-turvy 4-3 victory over Los Blancos at the Etihad Stadium in midweek, and they'll need another positive result to keep up their hunt of a double.

City are counting the cost of a mounting injury crisis in defence, with John Stones joining Kyle Walker on the sidelines after limping off in the first half against Carlo Ancelotti's side.

With that in mind, here's how the Cityzens could line up.

Ederson (GK) - The Brazilian will need to be at his best as City eye a historic double.

Joao Cancelo (RB) - The Portuguese's absence through suspension was keenly felt in the midweek win over Real Madrid.

Ruben Dias (CB) - Back from injury and looks back to his snarling best in defence.

Aymeric Laporte (CB) - His bizarre handball handed Karim Benzema the opportunity to Panenka Ederson and bring Real Madrid firmly back into the Champions League semi-final tie in midweek.

Oleksandr Zinchenko (LB) - City are light in the full back areas, which has placed extra onus on the Ukrainian.

Rodri (CM) - Not a great goalscorer, but a scorer of great goals, producing an absolute rocket from distance in the 5-1 win over Watford last weekend.

Ilkay Gundogan (CM) - His strike in the 2-0 win at Burnley earlier this month made him the outright top scoring German in Premier League history.

Bernardo Silva (CM) - Enjoying the most productive season of his career, beating Thibaut Courtois with a rasping strike in midweek.

Gabriel Jesus (RW) - Five goals in his last two outings, yet City could lose Jesus this summer if talks over a contract extension fail to work out.

Jack Grealish (ST) - Hasn't quite clicked in Manchester so far, although you'd imagine he'll come on stronger next season.

Raheem Sterling (LW) - No player has won more penalties (23) in the history of the Premier League than the Englishman.
