Manchester City are still in the hunt for Saint-Etienne defender Kurt Zouma and will only allow wantaway Joleon Lescott leave if they bag the Frenchman.
England man Lescott is wanted by a number of clubs, but his refusal to lower wage demands of around £95,000 a week and City boss Manuel Pellegrini’s insistence on finding a replacement first have held up his departure.
