Vincent Kompany will play no part in Manchester City's Champions League game with AS Monaco on Tuesday night due to a knee injury.

"Vincent is not ready for tomorrow. I think it won't be longer. Hopefully, for the Huddersfield game he will be ready," manager Pep Guardiola said in his press conference on Monday.

The City boss will wait until later today whether to start Claudio Bravo or Willy Caballero in goal, while Monaco will be without midfielder Gabriel Boschilia who is ruled out with the cruciate ligament injury.

Man City remain sixth favourites to lift the trophy, with odds of up to 12/1 with some bookmakers, well behind favourites Bayern Munich on 11/4.
