Keegan, who is believed to have been given £7million to spend, revealed the deals will involve foreign players.

"I am quite happy with the money which I have got and I don't think that I can grumble," said Keegan.

"Obviously I could turn round and say that I would like more and you would believe me that I was disappointed with what I was given. Bit I think it has given me the opportunity, and that all it is, to go and get two players."

"They will definitely be from abroad and not from this country. We have irons in the fire but whether we can get them here we will have to wait and see."

"If other clubs come in and the ante goes up we will be out of it at a certain stage, we will have to wait and see and despite the rumours I am still here."
