Keegan: Side too complacent

City wasted the opportunity to move six points clear at the top of the First Division after two goals from Neil Shipperley brought an unlikely double for the Dons.

Boss Keegan admitted Wimbledon, who won 4-0 at Maine Road earlier this season, had "pummelled" City twice this year.

He said: "I think Wimbledon deserved to win but I was very disappointed with the manner of our performance.

"The Wimbledon I used to know are very different to the team we played.

"Terry Burton's team like to play a bit of football and Selhurst Park is no longer an intimidating place to play.

"It was disappointing to see so many empty seats and I dread to think what would have happened if we had not brought so many fans with us.

"Their manager deserves credit. With everything that's going on out there Wimbledon pummelled us. What they're doing in mid-table I don't know.

"Some of the players out there I think thought they were as good as Arsenal but we are millions of miles apart from them and we got exactly what we deserved."
