KEEGAN PONDERS SUN SWITCH

With the Chinese star's defensive prospects limited after the arrival of full-backs Ben Thatcher and Danny Mills, Keegan believes he could be used in a more advanced role instead.

“Sun Jihai will cover us at right-back and left-back but I also want to see if he can play central midfield," the City boss told the club website.

"He plays in that position for China and I believe he has the engine for that slot.
"He has played in the Premiership for two years now so he's getting to know the league and he knows the language.

“So that's one experiment I will be looking at during pre-season. It may or may not work.”
