Keegan happy with away win

City boss Kevin Keegan
An Heidar Helguson's own goal 10 minutes from time gave City all three points after Paulo Wanchope had cancelled out Tommy Smith's opener for Watford.

"Any win at this stage is a good win," said Keegan.

"We were a little bit lucky, it has to be said - but then again we did create a number of chances in the first half.

"We should have been in the lead at half-time instead of drawing, but Watford scored with what was almost their only attack of the first half.

"This is a good victory for us because a lot of rival sides have got to come here, and although they are some points off the pace at the moment I fully believe they will finish in the top six."
