Keegan confident of Ipswich scalp

City go into the game as underdogs against higher league opponents, but Keegan sees little difference between the two sides.

And he reckons his players have nothing to fear from a side, currently fourth from bottom in the premiership and hovering just above the relegation zone.

"I think the top of the First Division is equal to the bottom of the Premiership," said Keegan.

"How else can you judge it. If we finish in the league where we are now we will be in the Premiership and if Ipswich finish where they are now they will just hang in there.

We have got to be on their equal.

"There is this feeling that the Premiership is far and away above everything else.

"If you start judging yourself by the top three or four clubs who are spending 40 to 50 million pounds on a couple of players then of course they have the edge.

"I really don't think anyone in the bottom half of the Premiership should scare us. They may beat us but they should not scare us at all," he told the club's official website.
