City had made a bid in excess of £100million for Kaka and he was reported to have been offered a wage of around £500,000 per week had he decided to move to Eastlands.
Kaka told AC Milan's television channel: "At the moment I don't want to change anything.
"All the messages that I received said to choose with the heart and I think in the end that has been the decision.
"It is absolutely not about money."
