City will take on Barcelona's U-19 team in a mouth-watering clash at Ewen Fields on 15 September and they will also face Celtic and Marseille, who have been placed in the four-team group.
The Nextgen Series, as it is known, will kick-off on 17 August and is comprised of teams from Inter Milan, Sporting Lisbon, Liverpool and Tottenham, amongst others.
