Hungary for a stopper

CITY have moved quickly to sign Hungarian under-17 international David Vardon from Debrechen after the goalkeeper impressed in a recent trial.

Vardon has signed a two-year deal and has more or less replaced Kevin Sthur Ellegaard in the squad after the young Danish stopper moved to Hertha Berlin this summer.
