Manchester City will be without winger Jeremy Doku for tonight’s Carabao Cup quarter-final clash against Brentford at the Etihad Stadium.
Manager Pep Guardiola confirmed that the Belgian international, who has been in exceptional form, is sidelined with a leg injury sustained in the recent victory over Crystal Palace.
Doku joins a growing injury list that includes John Stones and Rodri, both of whom remain out with thigh and hamstring issues respectively.
Guardiola hinted that the "hectic" December schedule will necessitate rotation, with goalkeeper James Trafford and several academy products expected to feature in the quest for a semi-final berth.
