Goat to take some grass home

The Goat will skipper the side for the game with Southampton in the last ever game to be played at Maine Road as he bids farewell to City after five glorious years with the club.

"I am going to get some stick from the rest of the lads, I know that. But there will be a tear in the eye and a lump in the throat," said the Bermudian striker.

"Every time I step out at Maine Road it is a special occasion.

"There is a warmth there that you do not feel at many other grounds and it will be very hard , if not impossible, to recreate. I will take a bit of grass home with me.

"It will be an emotional occasion for lots of reasons but I will be proud to captain the side."
