The City number 10, inspired no doubt by Temuri Ketsbai then of Newcastle, decided the only way to celebrate Nicolas Anelka's winning goal was by giving the nearest advertising hoarding a good kicking, the hoarding won.
Feed the Goat and he won't get board

The Goat suceeded in injuring his knee and had to be pulled off for the dying minutes of the 2-0 victory.

Goater, who expects to have recovered in time for Saturday's game at West Brom, told the official site about the incident.

“It was a bit embarrassing really," smiled the striker afterwards. "I have been getting a bit of stick from the gaffer and the physio and I will not be celebrating in that fashion ever again."

"It was just such a great moment, the moment that we knew we had won the game and I got a bit carried away. I am sure there has been no permanent damage to the knee and I will be fit to face West Brom next week if selected."
