Fernandinho signs new one-year contract at Man City

Manchester City captain Fernandinho has signed a new one-year contract until the summer of 2022 that will extend his stay at the Etihad Stadium into a ninth season.

Fernandinho, who turned 36 last month, was due to be out of contract at the end of June but will now remain a City player for at least one more season.
