"Paul will be missing from our first two Premiership games," said Kevin Keegan. "He is carrying the suspension from last season when he was at Feyenoord."
"There is nothing we can do about it, as the suspensions stand between countries. He will play against TNS in our first competitive game and then have to sit out the next two games."
He will miss City's game at Charlton and the home game with Portsmouth.
