The French defender complained to referee Graham Poll during the first half of Thursday's game with Arsenal that he had been racially abused by Robin van Persie.
Stuart Pearce has confirmed that Poll told him and Arsene Wenger about the allegation and he is believed to have mentioned the complaint in his match report for the FA.
"The referee spoke with us at half-time in respect to it, but none of our players mentioned it at half-time or after the match," said Pearce.
"If one of my players mentions it to me, it will be taken very seriously."
