Promising Manchester City star Gai Assulin is set to sign for Barnsley on a three month loan deal.
The 20-year-old Israeli International moved to City after being released by Barcelona in July 2010, but is yet to play for the first team.
The winger will be the second Premier League player to join Championship side Barnsley this week after Keith Hill brought in controversial Newcastle forward Nile Ranger in a similar loan agreement.
