City set to spend big on Sane and Stones

Having made a measured start to this summer's transfer window, it's looking increasingly likely that Manchester City will complete deals for John Stones and Leroy Sane.

Despite contest from Bayern Munich, it is believed that City have agreed personal terms with Sane but want to negotiate the transfer fee down to around £40,000,000 from the earlier £50,000,000 the Royal Blues wanted. Schalke are apparently looking at Southampton's Dusan Tadic as a replacement for the 20 year old.

Another player on Pep Guardiola's radar is John Stones, it's no secret that the Everton defender has been of particular interest to the Citizens ever since he broke into the Toffees first team in 2014. Stones has reportedly told new Everton boss Ronald Koeman that he wants to leave Goodison Park now so he can be in the City setup for pre season.

With early reports suggesting a fee of around £50,000,000 for the ball playing centre back. However, it seems that both parties would be open to a deal consisting of 27 Ivorian striker Wilfried Bony and £35,000,000. Bony hasn't made the desired the impact since his £25,000,000 move from Swansea City in January of 2015.
