City last month fined Tevez four weeks' wages, later reduced to two weeks' following intervention by the Professional Footballers' Association, after a disciplinary panel found the player guilty of five breaches of contract relating to his behaviour on the bench during the match in Munich on September 27.

The 27-year-old was also suspended for two weeks - although that punishment was deemed to have already been served - and with the deadline for lodging an appeal passing today, it is understood that Tevez will not be doing so.
Former captain Tevez was accused by manager Roberto Mancini of refusing to come on as a substitute during the second half of the 2-0 loss at the Allianz Arena. Mancini said afterwards the Argentina international would be 'finished' at City as a result but Tevez denied the allegations, blaming a misunderstanding.

He insisted he had merely refused to warm up, something he felt unnecessary as he had already done so.
Tevez was suspended for two weeks, then trained alone while the matter was investigated, and on October 25 City announced they were upholding a charge of misconduct against him.
The panel concluded he was guilty of five contractual breaches, among them that he had not fulfilled 'an obligation to participate in any matches in which the player is selected to play for the club when directed by a club official' and not carried out 'lawful instructions of any authorised official of the club'.

Tevez was given 14 days to appeal, an option he had been expected to take up, but it now seems he has accepted his punishment.
His future with City remains unclear, although Mancini has suggested the forward could yet return to the team if he apologises.
Tevez, signed from Manchester United in 2009, was City's skipper, top scorer and talisman during their historic FA Cup-winning campaign last season but has been largely out of favour since a second transfer request and a failure to secure a move in the summer.
Falling behind Sergio Aguero, Edin Dzeko and Mario Balotelli in the Blues' pecking order up front, Tevez has made just five appearances for City this term, with the last of them coming in the 2-0 Carling Cup victory over Birmingham on September 21.
