Carlos Tevez isnt Manchester Citys only sulking striker

Last updated : 15 December 2010 By Daily Mail

Carlos Tevez's transfer request is just the latest incident to wobble the club. We've already had training ground handbags and too many angry reactions to substitutions.

Roberto Mancini is at least getting his tactics right on the pitch but why are all his strikers in a strop? Sportsmail looks at why none of City's attackers is enjoying life in Manchester...

Separate ways: Tevez trains with Manchester City after telling the club he wants to leave

Carlos TevezIf there was one striker you would think should be happy at City, it is the Argentine. Club captain, adored by fans and on a very generous weekly wage, what more could you want?

Champions League football, it seems, and according to his mentor Kia Joorabchian, being beaten to fourth place by Tottenham last season is one factor that forced Tevez to consider his future.

In addition, his relations with those above him have deteriorated - some 'beyond repair' - while his touchline spat with Mancini against Bolton didn't look good.

Not so super, Mario: Balotelli trudges down the tunnel after being substituted against West Ham

Mario BalotelliA natural talent, but City would have (or at least should have) known what they were in for when they signed the striker from Inter Milan for £23m in the summer.

Such is his fiery temperament that despite his obvious class, his last manager Jose Mourinho regularly dropped him from the side and more often than not questioned his attitude.

Already he has been involved in a training-ground bust-up with Jerome Boateng and stormed off down the tunnel during the 3-1 win over West Ham after being substituted.

His committment to the club could be better too, publically declaring that he was only definitely at Eastlands until June despite signing a five-year deal. AC Milan continue to circle like vultures.

What am I doing here? Adebayor (second left) is none too happy with his lack of action

Emmanuel AdebayorAfter being a regular in the side last season, he has made only two league starts this term as he continues to fall down the pecking order.

The Togo striker is yet another player that seems to have fallen out with Mancini and looks set for the exit door as early as January, with Juventus and Real Madrid among the interested.

He does have a role at Eastlands, though, and is a regular starter in the Europa League, where he has already hit four strikes that have gone towards him being City's second top scorer overall this season.

Chance: Jo has played more than expected

JoAnother bitpart player at the club despite arriving at a cost of £20m, the Brazil international has never been more than on the fringes of the starting XI.

Despite being loaned out to Everton and Galatasaray in recent years, he has surprisingly been used much more by Mancini this season.

The 23-year-old is at a crucial point in his career where game time is everything, but he often cuts a forlorn figure on the pitch, indicating that it's probably never going to happen for him at Eastlands.

There does seem to be a reason for his minor resurgence into the squad though, having made the least amount of noise about leaving he is probably the only striker Mancini still gets on with.

Roque Santa CruzHow does it sound to be paid £75,000 a week to occasionally sit on the bench to watch football at the weekend, while train with your mates for a few hours during the week?

For some of us we can only dream, but for a certain Paraguayan (left) it's a nightmare. Having fallen to the bottom of Mancini's pecking order, he is desperate to leave City as soon as possible.

Just three appearances all season tell you all you need to know about the 29-year-old's standing and he is almost certain to exit the club in next month's transfer window.

Changing cities: Bellamy proudly shows off his Cardiff shirt after getting out of Eastlands (for now)

P.S. Roberto, there's another striker who has a bone to pick with you...Craig BellamyMancini did the football equivalent of sweeping the dirt under the rug when he sent Bellamy to Cardiff on-loan and agreed to pay the majority of his wages while at the Championship side.

The Welshman was a key player for the club under predecessor Mark Hughes, but the end was nigh for him when he questioned Mancini's training methods just weeks into the Italian's tenure.

It was downhill from there and, after slamming Mancini for trying to force him out the club in the summer, he was hit with a £160,000 fine. Despite his contract he looks to have played his last game for the club.
