Anelka was abused by drunken fans at Manchester's Lucid bar before his friend was punched in the face and the striker was punched in the chest.
An 'eye-witness' told The Sun: "Anelka hadn't done anything wrong and these louts were the worse for wear.
"His friend got clattered with a proper big punch but Anelka was okay, just a little shaken."
First Darren Fletcher and then Rio Ferdinand were also punched at United's bash this weekend.
