Feature: The final straw

I have followed City through their ups and downs for the past 30 odd years but yet again comes a false dawn for all their patient fans and this time I don't feel anything - I was neither frustrated nor annoyed when I saw yet again we have blown it in the last 10 minutes of a game.

I visited the new ground earlier in the year and felt, you know, at last we could do something, but the disappointment in Europe and in the league recently has only brought back all the old frustration.

At least when were down in the lower leagues we had something to aim for but now I think we are a very average team who might even be playing above themselves in the Premier League.

I have too many other distractions with family and work etc. to really get worked up about a team who I feel don't have the passion or committment and, above all, respect their loyal fans.

Sorry guys but that is simply the way I feel and I think we all know when the time is right to simply change our focus in life. I will always follow the scorelines but the passion has gone for the team.
