The 24-year-old Brazilian striker is said to have walked out of a training session after an alleged argument with City boss Mark Hughes.
The news of Robinho's walkout came just hours after City had learned that transfer target Kaka had snubbed a move to Eastlands and will be staying with AC Milan.
